Calendar of Events:

WILPF meets on the third Monday of the month at the Peace Resource Center, 1364 Fremont Blvd. (between Sonoma and Hamilton St.), Seaside.   Meeting begins at 6:30 pm.    

  Vandenberg Protest, May 15th:

May 15 at five minutes to midnight, (11:55 pm) there will be a protest vigil against the hydrogen bomb delivery system test (Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Test ) at the front gate of Vandenberg.  This is the first ICBM test to be held since Dan Ellsberg, Cindy Sheehan, David Krieger and`12 others were arrested protesting the 2/25 ICBM launch.

Vandenberg Test Launch, May 16th: 
 
On May 16 there will be a test launch of an ICBM Minuteman III launch in the early morning hours from Vandenberg AFB in Santa Barbara county in California USA.  

 

May 17 , 8:30 am Dan Ellsberg, David Krieger  , Cynthia Papermaster, John Amidon ,. Lynn Hamilton and the other co-defendants will be arraigned in federal court at 1415 State St Santa Barbara for their arrests at the 2/25 Vandenberg ICBM test launch.
